Are you an international degree-seeking student at the University of Passau who would like to gain professional experience in Germany during your studies, e.g. during an internship or as a working student? Or perhaps you are even aiming for a career in a German-speaking country? In summer 2024 at the Language Centre of the University of Passau, you can improve your German language skills to meet the demands of the German labour market in a three-week intensive language course at level A2+/B1.
The course is designed to improve your oral and written skills in relation to career-oriented topics. In addition, knowledge of the German working world will be taught and topics relating to communication in the workplace will be reviewed with in a practical way. You will gain confidence in the German-speaking work environments through role-plays and scenario-based exercises.
This DAAD supported course can be credited to the iStudi-Pass career guidance programme under Module D: German language competence.
Course dates: 19 August 2024 - 06 September 2024, 4 - 6 teaching units daily (monday - friday)
Requirements for participation: You are an international degree-seeking student at the University of Passau and will have successfully completed the course "German as a Foreign Language - Grundstufe 2/A2" by the end of the summer semester 2024.
Requirement for receiving certificate: regular attendance of at least 80%
Costs: This intensive language course is funded by the DAAD, so participants only have to pay the costs for the course material, about 10 euros.
