Foreign language skills at level UNIcert® II/B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or even UNIcert® III/C1 CEFR are required for admission to a number of our master's programmes. Language certificates should be handed in to the Student Registration Office or sent to Wolfgang Killer by e-mail. The rules below apply.

As an international applicant with a university degree from a non-German-speaking country you have to provide proof of German proficiency for all degree programmes offered by the University of Passau except the following Master's programmes: M.Sc. Artificial Intelligence Engineering, M.Sc. Computational Mathematics, M.Sc. Computer Science, M.A. Development Studies and M.Sc. International Economics and Business.
