The FFA for Business and Economics provides subject-specific knowledge and skills for business and economics-related degree programmes and occupations. While the FFA is an integrated, compulsory component in some degree programmes, it is available as a voluntary additional qualification in all other programmes.
You must have good general command of the relevant language. This will be imparted in the Foundation courses (Grundstufe 1 and 2).
If you have prior knowledge of the language, you will need to take a placement test before starting the semester.
FFA for Business and Economics is divided into three stages:
The two Advanced stages conclude with subject-specific language examinations, FFP I and FFP II respectively.
Each FFP examination consists of two written examinations (one for each semester) and an oral examination. Upon successful completion you will receive a certificate that lists your examination scores and competencies.
All transcripts and certificates can be collected from the office of Ms. Ulrike Buchheit (Nikolakloster building, Innstrasse 40) during office hours.
